Our Story
The Newport Curiosity Shop is run by Kieran, a 24-year-old antique and vintage dealer with over two years of trading experience and a lifelong love of the rare, the beautiful, and the unexpected.
The shop was shaped by something deeply personal. When Kieran lost his uncle Cody, he wanted to find a way to honour his memory, to keep something of him alive in the world. The answer was found in what they had always shared: a love of the mystical, the magickal, and the freedom that comes from living curiously.
That shared passion became the soul of this shop. In June 2026, Kieran took a step that felt true to Cody's spirit, moving beyond online selling to open a physical shop, a real place where people could walk in and feel the magic. With that move came a rebrand: The Newport Curiosity Shop, home of Cody's Magic Apothecary.
Every candle, tarot deck, herb, and vintage treasure is chosen with intention, not just for its quality, but for the feeling it carries. This shop exists to bring a little of that magic into your everyday life, and to keep Cody's memory woven into everything we do.
Thank you for being here. It means more than you know.
